Mr Banville shown above
Breakingnewsenglish has a wealth of news stories with activities. There are nearly 1,500 lessons. All of them have an accompanying 13 page Word document with lesson activities and ideas. The news stories can be used as listening practice or reading practice. The stories are read slowly in a British English accent by the author Sean Banville. Sean has six other websites with over 3,000 lessons on business English.
This blog is for anyone interested in the possibilities that new technologies can offer (English) language teachers. I hope the web sites and tools on the Blog will be of use for teachers who want to help their learners. I have used them all at some time. The web sites and tools are easy to use for the most part and do not require the user to be a technical wizard. They are also FREE.
