Zamzar is a great site for converting just about any file type. The following formats are available: image, document, music, video, e-books, compressed, video presets for mobile devices are all available.

This is how it works.
Step 1 - Select the file you want to convert. It can be from your computer (use the browse button) or it can be from a web page (use the URL link)
Step 2 -  Choose the type of file you want your original file to be changed to. For example, you might want to convert a YouTube file to a wav. file to make it work in PowerPoint
Step 3 - Add your email address
Step 4 - Click Convert

Next - Now go to your email and open the email from Zamzar

Then - Click on the hyperlink in the email (you don't have to sign up to Zamzar although you are offered the possibility)

Finally - This will take you to a different Zamzar page. Here click the download button and save it to your PC or memory stick or whatever. It will now be in the format you need as Zamzar will have converted the file for you.
