Film English is a website from Kieran Donaghy that has short film clips embedded from YouTube, Vimeo and similar video places from around the web. The film clips are quite short and are accompanied by suggested lesson ideas.
Things I like about this site
It uses authentic videos
The thematically based videos are likely to be engaging for students
You can subscribe to a newsletter which keeps you informed of new video lessons added to the site
The lessons plans can be downloaded
Things I am less keen on
The pages sometimes take a long time to load
The lessons work well until the video is removed from YouTube, Vimeo and the like
Some of the videos are advertisements from well-known companies which may worry the cynics amongst us
