A tool for simplifying difficult texts

Rewordify

Rewordify is a web based tool that allows students and teachers to copy and paste text into a field on a web page. Wordify then identifies 'difficult' words and replaces them with suggested simpler ones.

There are a number of different settings that can be used.  In the example shown below I have chosen to place the original text  alongside the rewordified text. Rewordify will also generate multiple choice questions based on the difficult words identified in the original text. This can be done by clicking on the Print / Learning Activities button.  There are a number of other features which are worth exploring.
