Cloze Test Creator
Cloze Test Creator is a web based tool written by Lucy Georges (© 2009 Lucy Georges).  It allows users to type text or copy and paste text into a yellow box on the page (shown to the left above).  There are a number of preset gap fill tools that can be used. Authors can gap using the the following tool types;

• every n words
• articles
• prepositions
• link words
• auxiliaries
• wh- words
• quantifiers
• modals
• let me choose (create your own gaps

The author can then choose text only to generate a gap fill which can be copied and pasted into a text document and used as a paper based activity in class. If interactive is chosen then an on-screen gap-fill is created. This can be completed by clicking in the gaps and writing the answers in the gaps. However, the on-screen activity does not generate a unique URL so it is difficult to see how it could be used in this way.
