Listen to lectures with Academic Earth

Academic Earth is a website that offers free online video lectures from universities such as Harvard, Yale, Princeton, MIT and so on.  They are all US based.

Lectures are available in the subjects of Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, English, Entrepreneurship, History, Law, Mathematics, Medicine, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, and Religion.

Users can do a general search, search by subject, search by university or by instructor. It is also possible to study an entire subject.  For example, there are 28 video lectures with Mehran Sahami from Stanford on Computer Programming. They come with the lecture scripts in pdf format as well as the course syllabus.

This is a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to improve their listening in an academic context. However, there are no activities and the content is not interactive (yet).
